General Information

What is Cubs Play Centre?

Located in Llangefni on the Isle of Anglesey, Cubs Play Centre is an indoor play centre designed for children from birth up to 9 years old, with dedicated play areas for every stage of childhood. 

From our baby sensory zone and toddler area to our exciting multi-level soft play, alongside our family café, accessible facilities and regular SEN Sessions, we’ve created a welcoming space where families from across Anglesey and North Wales can relax, play and spend quality time together. 

Whether you’re looking for things to do in North Wales, planning a family day out on Anglesey, searching for rainy day activities or keeping the little ones entertained during the school holidays, Cubs Play Centre is the perfect place to play, explore and make memories. 

You’ll find us at Unit 6, Llangefni Trade Park, Industrial Estate Road, Llangefni, LL77 7JA, making us easy to reach for families across Anglesey and North Wales. 

We’re also excited to share that plans have been submitted to open a brand new Cubs Play Centre in Bangor city centre, transforming a large vacant unit at the Menai Centre into our flagship indoor play space. Keep an eye on our website and social media for the latest updates.

Admission & Bookings

Do I need to book in advance?

Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend booking online before you visit, especially during weekends and school holidays, to guarantee your preferred session. 

Our play sessions last 90 minutes, with multiple sessions available throughout the week. 

We allow 30 minutes between each session to thoroughly clean and prepare the play centre. Cleanliness is incredibly important to us, helping us provide a safe, fresh and welcoming environment for every family. 

Admission prices vary by age group.

Cubs Play Centre is suitable for children from birth up to 9 years old, with dedicated play areas designed for every stage of early childhood. 

  • Baby Sensory Zone (0-1 years) – A safe, sensory-rich space designed especially for babies.  
  • Toddler Zone (1-3 years) – A dedicated area with age-appropriate equipment and soft flooring.  
  • Main Soft Play Area (Up to 9 years) – A large multi-level play structure featuring slides, climbing elements, crawl tunnels and imaginative play features.  

No matter their age, every child has a safe and exciting space to play at Cubs Play Centre. 

Yes! Alongside our regular play sessions, we offer a variety of special sessions throughout the year for families to enjoy. 

These include Little Explorers, Play & Singing Sessions, Friday Fun Day and our dedicated SEN Sessions, offering something for babies, toddlers and young children throughout the week.

Yes! Cubs Play Centre gift cards make the perfect gift for birthdays, Christmas or any special occasion. 

Gift cards can be purchased online or at the play centre. 

Absolutely! We offer two fantastic birthday party packages, Bertie’s Cubs Party and Remi’s Cubs Celebration, making it easy to celebrate your child’s special day at Cubs Play Centre.

Facilities & Safety

Is there a café on-site?

Yes! Our family café serves freshly prepared breakfasts, lunches, children’s meals, sweet treats and snacks, all made using fresh, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Alongside a range of hot and cold drinks, it’s the perfect place for parents and carers to relax while the little ones play. 

Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. All of our play equipment is regularly inspected, maintained and cleaned, and complies with UK safety standards. Our team is fully trained in first aid and supervision, giving you peace of mind while your little ones play. 

Yes, we do. We offer dedicated SEN Sessions, wheelchair-accessible facilities and a calming sensory room designed to support children who may benefit from a quieter environment. If there’s anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable, please let us know in advance and we’ll be happy to help. 

To help us maintain high standards of hygiene and manage food allergies safely, we kindly ask that only food and drink purchased from our café is consumed on-site. The only exceptions are baby food, baby formula / milk. 

Is there parking available?

Yes, we have free on-site parking, including accessible spaces for disabled visitors.

We recommend children wear comfortable clothing and socks at all times while using the play equipment. Grip socks are ideal for added safety and comfort during play. 

Yes! If you’re a regular visitor, don’t forget to pick up a Cubs Loyalty Card when you visit. 

Each visit earns you a stamp in the Cubs Café and, once your card is full, you’ll receive a little treat from us as a thank you for supporting your local play centre. 

It’s our way of saying thank you to our wonderful Cubs families.
